Supreme Court rules against clerk in gay marriage case

My article came from the Longview News Journal

     in Morehead ,KY a county clerk has refused to issue same-sex marriage licenses. The county clerk ,Kim Davis, feels that it goes against her Christian beliefs . The supreme Court has ruled against the county clerk and has demanded she issue same-sex marriage licenses .Kim Davis will return to work and make the decision to stand firm in her faith and be held in contempt of court or go against what she believes on and issue the same-sex licenses.

     I feel that Kim Davis has the right choose rather or not she wants to issue same-sex marriage licenses. if it goes against her beliefs ,someone other that Ms.Davis should be able to issue the same-sex licenses.

     In todays ever changing world , its hard to stand firm in one’s faith. There are so many people that have different religious beliefs . We are being told to do things that we don’t believe in so that we can make someone happy. Rather it is wrong or right .To me , this causes a lot of conflict in today’s society.
